Organized by JCI Djerba Midoun, the Dream Island Academy is a transformative, inclusive leadership experience set on the inspiring shores of Djerba, Tunisia. This inaugural edition invites young changemakers, emerging voices, and dedicated professionals from across civil society — especially JCI members, entrepreneurs, and aspiring leaders — to step into a space of growth, connection, and meaningful transformation.

Meet the Head Trainers : Lars and Fares
Lars Hajslund has spent most of his adult life on stages across the globe, working with people in high-performing organizations in 123 countries, including 44 states in the US. This extensive international experience has given him a rare, firsthand understanding of what drives performance and growth across vastly different cultures and business environments.
He assists his clients in growing their businesses through the right strategies, effective communication, and a creative approach — methods that are practical and rooted in his extensive experience leading organizations ranging in size from 4 to 180,000 people. Whether working with small teams or massive global structures, Lars brings the same commitment to clarity, impact, and results.
As Past President of Junior Chamber International (JCI), the largest organization worldwide for young leaders, he continues to engage actively in the development of talented leaders and change-makers. This role has afforded him a unique and far-reaching network, spanning from some of the world's foremost thinkers to national leaders across continents.
For 11 years, Lars led the JCI Academy in Japan, and he has also led numerous national academies on 5 continents, shaping leadership programs that have influenced generations of participants worldwide. His work reflects a deep belief in the power of structured, experiential learning to build lasting leadership capacity.
Lars is the Co-founder and Principal of CLICK Institute and the Founder of Be Better Academy, and he serves as both chairman and board member of several companies and foundations — continuing to shape the future of leadership development through both strategic guidance and hands-on mentorship.

Fares Ben Souilah is an agent of change by passion. He is a professional coach, organizational consultant, and international trainer certified in "Essential Skills," bringing more than 10 years of experience in Tunisia and abroad. Alongside his coaching career, he is also a professional radio journalist, a background that has sharpened his communication skills and his ability to connect with diverse audiences.
He is widely recognized for his distinctive and innovative training style, rooted in playful learning through games — an approach that transforms traditional seminars into dynamic, engaging experiences. A true citizen of the world, Fares has designed and delivered numerous training programs, Essential Skills seminars, and leadership academies in more than 15 countries across 4 continents, adapting his methods to a wide range of cultures and organizational contexts.
Beyond the training room, Fares continues to inspire audiences through his motivational conferences and TEDx Talks, sharing insights on leadership, personal development, and change. Over the years, he has accompanied numerous Tunisian and multinational organizations and companies across various sectors, helping teams and leaders unlock their potential and drive meaningful transformation.
He is also an active member of civil society, most notably through his long-standing involvement with Junior Chamber International, where he channels his passion for empowering individuals and building the next generation of leaders.

Marlen Wehner is a leadership trainer and founder of the Marlen Wehner Academy®️, currently serving as Global Chairperson of JCI's Skills Development Commission (2026). She's been active in Junior Chamber International since 2013, rising through roles including State President of JCI Bavaria, National President of JCI Germany (2022), and JCI Vice President for Europe (2023).
With over a decade in leadership development and as a JCI Training Mentor, she founded her Academy to focus on Positive Leadership, Business Coaching, and Team Development under her philosophy "Diplomatic Leadership. Positive Impact." She's also expanded into diplomacy, completing UNITAR's Core Diplomacy Diploma and collaborating with organizations like the SDG Academy and the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens — combining leadership, diplomacy, and sustainable development work.

Silvia Neri is an Energy Coach, international trainer, and entrepreneur with a degree in Business Economics and Management, living between Italy and Tunisia. For over 18 years, she has run her restaurant brand La Focaccia, building strong expertise in business management, leadership, and human relations.
Over the years, she has specialized in leadership, neuroscience, NLP, hypnosis, psychology, adult learning, and Energy Coaching, and works as a trainer of trainers with a specialization in andragogy. Since 2021, she has dedicated herself fully to her work as an Energy Coach and trainer, blending entrepreneurial experience, professional expertise, and personal growth into programs for professionals, leaders, and organizations.
She authored Hikari-Do – The Path of Light, uniting the values of Bushidō, the discipline of Kendo, and inner development.

Ahmed Nouisser is a Tunisian entrepreneur specializing in Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and innovation, and CEO and Co-Founder of iCompass, a company focused on AI-driven solutions, conversational technologies, NLP, and organizational digital transformation. With over 25 years of international experience, Ahmed held leadership positions within the Orange Group, leading major transformation, customer experience, and innovation programs across Europe and Africa before turning fully to entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
Alongside his career, Ahmed is a prominent figure in Japanese martial arts and Tunisia–Japan relations, serving as President of the Tunisian Kendo League and Vice President of the Tunisia–Japan Friendship Association. He is also co-founder and coordinator of the TICAD Games, uniting Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas through Kendo, cultural diplomacy, and Bushido values, while sharing insights on AI, leadership, and the future of work grounded in integrity and discipline.

Kais Boudaya is an internationally recognized energy transition, energy efficiency, and sustainability expert with over 25 years of experience across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Holding a Master's in Civil Engineering and dual German-Tunisian nationality, he combines technical engineering expertise, strategic leadership, and capacity-building to help organizations achieve their decarbonization goals.
He currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of several consulting and engineering companies specialized in sustainable development, energy management, and photovoltaic solutions, leading large-scale initiatives to improve energy performance and accelerate renewable energy deployment.
Beyond his career, Kais is deeply committed to Kendo, the Japanese "Way of the Sword," serving as Team Leader of the Tunisian National Kendo Team and mentoring practitioners in discipline, integrity, and excellence.
